Recently, Professor Ivan O. Roosas, Director of the Department of Respiratory Critical Care and Sleep Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine, USA, visited Cell Valley for exchange. Professor Rosas visited the smart exhibition hall and research and development laboratory of Cell Valley successively, and systematically understood the development history, strategic layout, team building of Cell Valley in the field of cell therapy CRO/CDMO, as well as the unique advantages of Cell Valley in the preparation and production of core retroviral vectors. Dr. Ivan highly appreciated that Cell Valley has achieved standardization, standardization and specialization of viral vector preparation and production process.

Subsequently, Professor Rosas had academic exchanges with Chairman Professor Shi Yuanyuan, chief scientist Professor Wang Jianxun, and Cell Valley R&D team. Professor Rosas first made a detailed introduction to the research team and research fields of Baylor College of Medicine, and then in-depth explained the advanced technology and achievements of his team in the research of pulmonary fibrosis disease, and in-depth exchanges with the participants in the immune regulation of pulmonary fibrosis disease and target discovery.

During the meeting, Professor Rosas, Professor Shi Yuanyuan, chairman of the board, and Professor Wang Jianxun, chief scientist, agreed that the use of retroviral vector technology to develop cellular drugs for the treatment of pulmonary fibrosis has broad prospects. Combined with the clinical research resources of Professor Rosas' team and the technological production advantages of Cell Valley, the two teams will jointly explore and cooperate to develop cell therapy drugs for pulmonary fibrosis disease, and break the status quo of insufficient treatment drugs for pulmonary fibrosis disease.
